Who is tricia byerrum?

Tricia Byerrum has been focusing on the exploration of cowboy culture and American Western photography for about 3 years. She originally enrolled at California Baptist University as an Architecture student. After a few years, Tricia realized that was not the path she wanted to take and decided to switch her major to photography because she thought it would give her more freedom to do more activities she enjoys, such as traveling and exploring nature. Little did Tricia know then that her world with horses would soon coincide with her photography. Once she merged these two areas of her life, everything seemed to start falling into place and she knew she had found her niche.

Tricia grew up loving horses. She always knew that one day she wanted to be a part of the western/equestrian world. As an adult, Tricia immersed herself into this world through jobs and she eventually bought a horse which allowed her to better connect into the community. Once she merged her photography with her western world, her photography took a turn for the better. Her work within Western photography has spanned from fashion to fine art and even documentary photography. Tricia hopes that her passion for the Western lifestyle will continue to inspire her work, even if it is not the main subject.
